Wood is a particularly sensuous material, its surface is lively, it has a pleasant feel and a natural scent. This makes it an especially good choice for use as a bowl or tray. The acacia wood that is used for Toivo has a very distinctive grain styling with striking colours that create an appealing patchwork pattern on these bowls. The foot and base of the Toivo bowl are made of cast aluminium finished with a black patina. Toivo can be cleaned with warm water, dishwashing liquid and a soft cloth. Time to time the surface should be rubbed with a bit of oil to rejuvenate.
