With this extraordinary remake of a classic, Lambert proves its strength and competence in the small furniture sector. The practical stool or side table is now also available in a graphite-coloured version in addition to the natural-coloured banana leaf. Keiko - banana leaf was manufactured using a new, handcrafted technique. Sun-dried banana leaves are first dyed grey and then pressed onto the body with heavy, heated irons, finely sanded and polished. After the surface is completely dry, several layers of clear varnish are alternately applied one by one and polished in several hours of work with increasingly fine sanding pads until the perfect deep shine is achieved.
