Fiambala, decoration plate, aluminium matt gold

The waves in the slightly oval-shaped Fiambala decorative plate are chased piece by piece by hand. This is made visible by the punctual hammer blows that form a symbiosis with the smooth half of the plate. Like a shifting dune, Fiambala offers an ever-changing sight in different incidences of light. The surface is finely refined with a matt finish in a special process, which gives it a special and mysterious warmth. Fiambala should only be cleaned by hand with warm water, a soft dishcloth and a little washing-up liquid and the surface should not be treated with sharp objects.
